Welcome to Watches.net.  First, an introduction.  My name is Calvin Stewart, and over the course of the next few weeks i’ll be building a community of like minded people that appreciate rare, and high quality time peices.  By day, I’m a web developer, dealing with some of the most generic domains on the internet, with a focus on accessibility, and clean designs.

About Watches.net

Watches.net is a project i’ve been looking forward to for quite some time.  I own a really nice little portfolio of very sought after domain names, including Glasses.  I  believe they deserve being developed into communities, tools, and various other forms of online media that benefits it’s market.

The Plan for Watches.net

What are we all building here?:

• Watches.net will house a repository of information, such as serial/product number classifications for rare timepieces from the Rolex rage.
• A social networking hub, for enthusiasts to share, document , and gain a greater understanding of their prized posessions.
• To meet friends through the social netwroking section of the site, kindly powered by our friends over at .

Ok so watches is our home, but where do we start?

As you can see, I have alot of work ahead of me in the weeks to come.  My first job was to create a wordpress theme specifically for you guys.  In fact, It turned out so well, that i decided to make it public.  This theme is aptly named “Time”,  and should be seen as a building block to get you guys started in sharing your watches with the world.

From there you will all be able to create your own profile and choose between a few (but expanding) list of themes.

Whats next for Watches.

Well thats a good question.  I work quite rapidly when i have the time, so keep your eyes peeled for some big chunks of awesomeness.
